Elevation Certificate / LOMA

An Elevation Certificate is used to verify the elevation of the lowest floor of your house relative to the ground to help determine which flood zone it is located in. The flood zone determination is used to rate properties for flood insurance. A Letter of Map Amendment is a form sent to FEMA to attempt to reclassification an area as being outside a high-risk flood zone.
